Info Hub

The Info Hub is one of our most important tools. As the name suggests, it is the home to all our important information, and knowing how to manage that information is important for FLAME and Command.

Management Hub

Based on your access level, you will see different sections on the Management Hub. As FLAME, you will see Profiles, Assessment times, Update training sheet and Update handbook. As Command, you will also see Manage prescriptions, Update homepage, Manage users and Applications.

Profiles

Profile of 101 Director Jessie Nairdwood

Information

The main section of the profile is the information section. Here you'll see callsign, rank and name, Completed training modules, special tag, employee ID, Hire date and employment status, along with their profile image.

Actions

The actions section allows you to make changes to a profile, process a promotion or issue a disciplinary. Clicking any of the buttons will open a pop-up to complete a form.

You can edit callsign, image, F.L.A.M.E. position, Employment status and the special tag (with orange background).

Processing a promotion asks for your callsign and the new rank. Issuing a disciplinary asks for your callsign, and details of the disciplinary.

Promotion and Disciplinary History

Both the Promotion and Disciplinary histories will display all past promotions and issued disciplinaries, showing the new position assigned, disciplinary details, and the callsign of the issuer.

Edit Training Sheet

Selecting a staff member here will allow you to toggle a training module between incomplete and complete. Changes made here are immediately reflected on the employee's training record.

Edit Handbook

Usually handled by Command (mainly Jessie), the handbook can be updated to edit details, add or remove content, or add completely new pages. Pages consist of title, heading and content, with the title being the name of the button on the left.

Editing content will require some knowledge of HTML and Bootstrap. If you are unsure, enter content without HTML tags, and ask Jessie to update it to match the style of the Handbook.

Assessment Times

When performing either STX or Bike Certifications, you can record the results in the Assessment Times page. This ensures a record of training completion is completed. When adding a new time, you will need to add the trainee's name, your callsign, the date of the assessment, the time recorded and mark it as pass or fail.

Manage Prescriptions

If when filling in a prescription, a colleague has made an error, they can ask a member of Command to update the prescription. The layout of this page is identical to the standard prescriptions page, with the addition of edit and delete buttons.

Update Homepage

On the homepage of the Info Hub, you'll see a large news section to share key information to SAFM Staff. The Update Homepage page has a form to update the title and content of this section, with the current content auto-filled to be able to make minor adjustments without having to rewrite the entire content.

Manage Users

What is becoming increasingly used is the Manage Users page. Here you can see all registered users without an access level assigned, disabled accounts (for former staff), and all SAFM access levels.

Currently, SAFM have 4 access levels: safm, psychiatrist, safmtrainer and safmleader. Each access level unlocks different sections of the Info Hub, if a section is locked to a user, they won't be able to see it at all.

Most importantly, you can also reset an account's password if somebody has forgotten their password. To do this, edit a user, and click "Reset Password". This will reset their password to changeme and prompt for a new password when they next log in. Info Hub Admins are also able to reset any account's password regardless of department.

Applications

Alongside an alert on Discord, all applications are fed to the Applications page. Here will list the responses to the application form, providing both Character Name and Discord username, which is used for Command to assign the appropriate roles in Discord and make contact to arrange an interview.
